Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training - 1/2 Day

This short course provides candidates with a working knowledge of the application and safe use of Automated External Defibrillators.

Candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate.

• Shockable & non-Shockable Rhythms

• Safety Issues of AEDs

• AED Theory

• AED protocols

This course can be delivered in conjunction with the Medical Gases course to provide a 'bolt-on' training day to supplement any of our First Aid courses or as a stand alone programme to support your existing Health and Safety arrangements.

Assessment and Certification.

This course is continually assessed with an additional Multiple Choice Question paper.  On successful completion, candidates will receive a Certificate valid for 6 months (in line with UKCC and HSE recommendations).
