In this section you will find information on all the courses we offer as well as some background information.

 

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • First Aid at Work

    Level 3 in the REC scheme. This industry standard course is recognised by the Health & Safety Executive for nominated First Aiders in the workplace.  Read more about FAW regulations here.

  • REC Level 1 - Basic

    Level 1 in the REC scheme. This course covers basic emergency situations for remote environments. The course introduces the Incident Management protocol which is used throughout the series.

    This course satisfies HSE criteria for Appointed Persons.

  • REC Level 2 - Emergency

    Level 2 in the REC scheme. This course builds on the first day (Level 1) to add more complex situations in remote environments.  This course satisfies the criteria for First Aid training for all Outdoor NGB qualifications.

  • REC Level 4 - Advanced

    Level 4 in the REC scheme. This course is available in two formats; either as an Expedition course for those venturing further a field or as a Rescue course for those working with rescue personnel or in higher risk environments.

    A current First Aid course is required before attending this course.

  • REC Level 5 - Expedition

    Level 5 in the REC scheme. This course is also available for either candidates with an interest in either Expedition or Rescue.

    Candidates must hold a current REC Level 4 certificate before attending this course.

  • Trauma Technician

  • Medical Gases

    This short course provides candidates with advanced training for the safe use of Oxygen and Entonox® as a supplement to life support or pain relief.

    Candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate.

  • Automated External Defibrillator Training

    This short course provides candidates with a working knowledge of the application and safe use of Automated External Defibrillators.

    Candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate.
