In this section you will find information on all the courses we offer as well as some background information.

 

  • Paediatric First Aid

    1 or 2 day courses for individuals working with young people, in line with current Ofsted, Estyn, DFES and CSSIW requirements.

  • First Aid at Work

    A range of accredited training courses, recognised by the Health & Safety Executive for First Aiders in the workplace.  Read more about FAW regulations here.

  • REC Level 1 - Basic

    Level 1 in the REC scheme. This course covers basic emergency situations for remote environments. The course introduces the Incident Management protocol which is used throughout the series.

  • REC Level 2 - Emergency

    Level 2 in the REC scheme. This course builds on the first day (Level 1) to add more complex situations in remote environments.  This course satisfies the criteria for First Aid training for all Outdoor NGB qualifications.

  • Trauma Technician

    Bespoke, advanced training for individuals and organisations requiring addtional training to manage major trauma and dealing with extedned casualty care.  

  • Expedition First Aid

  • Medical Gases

    This short course provides candidates with advanced training for the safe use of Oxygen and Entonox® as a supplement to life support or pain relief.

    Candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate.

  • Automated External Defibrillator Training

    This short course provides candidates with a working knowledge of the application and safe use of Automated External Defibrillators.

    Candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate.

 

Remote Emergency Care

All REC First Aid courses are awarded by Remote Emergency Care - facilitator of practical, concept-based training in first aid and pre-hospital care for rural, remote and wilderness groups.

 

 

All courses are certificates and valid for 3 years (unless specifically stated otherwise) and recognised by Health & Safety Executive.
