Expedition First Aid - 2 Day

Level 5 in the REC scheme.  This course is also available for candidates with an interest in either Remote or Rescue.

Candidates must hold a current REC Advanced certificate (in either Rescue or Expedition) before attending this course in the same strand.

• IV Cannulation (Paramedic Assist)
• Advanced Airway Management (Paramedic Assist)

  

• Pulse Oximetry

Remote Syllabus

• Helmet Removal
• Cervical Collar application
• Mecical Gases
• Use of Drugs (incl. Intramuscular & Subcutaneous administration)

On sucessful completion of Level 5 Expedition candidates will also recieve the Medical Gases competency certificate.
