Medical Gases Training - 1/2 Day

This short course provides candidates with advanced training for the safe use of Oxygen and Entonox® as a supplement to life support or pain relief.

Candidates must hold a current First Aid certificate.

Content

• Application in Lfe Support & Pain Relief

• Indications & Contraindications of Oxygen & Nitrous Oxide

• Gas Delivery (Cylinders Circuits and Peripherals)

• Flow Rates

• Signs of Overdose

Assessment and Certification

 The course is continually assessed.   On successful completion candidates will receive a certificate, valid for 2 years.

 This course can be combined with the AED Defibrilation course to provide a 'bolt-on' training day to any of our First Aid courses or as a stand alone programme to supplement your existing H&S provisions.
